Pimsleur Approach Gold Edition
I ordered the $9.95 Quick Italian language cds, didn\\t notice the opt-out requirement to NOT receive the free trial expensive Gold Edition. I got the set I ordered a couple of weeks ago, and the Gold Edition arrived today. I immediately called the number listed and they explained that I had not declined the Gold Edition offer so it was sent automatically. But, no problem, they would give me a return number to write on the outside of the box and I could send it back. BUT, I would have to pay shipping. I claimed no fair; he said too bad, I was liable since I didn\\t tell them I didn\\t want it. I said I would have to check with my local consumer protection agency to see if I had any rights. He swore a mild oath, asked me to please hold, came back and said that even though it was my responsibility to pay shipping they would email me something to put on the box that would allow it to be sent without payment. So, we shall see if it shows up in my email box By the way, I do like the 9.95 Quick set! |
