No Funds On Gift Card

Dairy Queen 16-MISN, Mission, Texas
Agift card was bought for me by my brother. When I tried to redeem it the next day, I was told there was -0- balance on it. Also the card number on the receipt is different than that on the card that I had received. As of now there is no way to redeem the card that was paid for. Please instruct me on what has to be done to get this resolved.
