ACS, California
my student loan was with Wells Fargo and they sold it to ACS. I am in still school and I had the school submit an in school deferment via email and when ACS said they did not get it I had the schools financial aid office call ACS to straighten the mess out. I thought everything was taken care of until today I received a notice from ACS stating that I am delinquent on my loan they have tacked on late fees and raised my interest rate. This company is a scam I am in the process of contacting the Department of Education as well as Wells Fargo I fear that they have already reported this to the credit agencies. Can anyone give me some advise should I get a lawyer to have the mess they have created reversed? |
